Gold Hill, ColoradoASG developed an enhanced Risk and Adaptation Advisory report for the historic mountain town of Gold Hill, Colorado. The report outlines a roadmap for the community towards climate adaptation strategies. The report includes risk and adaptation mitigation strategies that can be implemented community-wide by their volunteer leadership. ASG performed the climate change modeling to help Gold Hill understand the likely climate change impacts the Gold Hill region will experience through the century’s end, and helped community leaders determine actionable tactics geared toward activating their community members to mitigate and adapt against climate change. ASG also partnered on implementing adaptation strategies and their associated communication and community engagement.

Manhattan Beach, CaliforniaASG worked with city leadership and other stakeholder agency representatives in Manhattan Beach, California. The goals of the project were to articulate the city’s vision for an evolving adaptation landscape, align the vision across city leadership, residents and other key stakeholders, and prioritize initiatives and investments to support the vision over the next 30 years.

Northglenn, ColoradoASG consulted with the City of Northglenn in Colorado. Goals of the project included creating a team of key stakeholders (individuals and agencies) to identify available resources and find common values shared interests. Next, the team was tasked with exploring hazards, assessing vulnerability and risks in order to develop a wide-ranging list of strategies that could reduce risk. Once adaptive need was identified, the group worked to prioritize and plan for future action and implementation.
